Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Corporate G&A, the position is responsible for developing and implementing Human Resource strategies and programs that are linked to and support the overall organization’s goals and objectives. This position is responsible for supporting Human Resource development and compliance for operations/facilities in Frankfort, KY, Chicago, Nashville, and Salt Lake City
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Recommend and establish company policies and procedures, then ensure consistency of enforcement, including disciplinary procedures.
- Directs and coordinates the preparation of position descriptions, ensures FLSA classification compliance, and oversees job evaluations.
- Directs the development of staffing strategies.
- Develops and builds hiring processes for a variety of levels, from temporary staffing to executive placement.
- Develops, streamlines and enhances staffing systems, tracking, reporting and analysis.
- Leads sourcing and recruiting initiatives and processes to leverage networking and employee referrals.
- Handles college relations and oversees various sourcing and internship programs.
- Manages relocation, immigration and other responsibilities related to staffing administration.
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations.
- Coordinate company equal opportunity programs to achieve diversity goals
- Create company strategic training and organizational development plan to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of company employees.
- Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels
- Oversee the design and development of compensation strategy and programs.
- Direct the administration of benefit programs to include: health, retirement, death, disability, and unemployment.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements as part of the executive committee overseeing benefit programs.
- Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve human resources data management.
- Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Evaluate company culture and provide recommendations on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives
- Evaluate and recommend human resource outsourcing opportunities and identify potential vendors.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for the division and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses
- Establishes and implements short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Assures compliance with state and federal reporting for Human Resources-related regulations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
- Promote a positive morale and work atmosphere in the company.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage, and salary laws and regulations.
- Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs.
- Knowledge of organizational development theory and practices
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of salary administration plans and benefit programs.
- Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
- Knowledge of computer, database, and payroll systems skills.
- Superior professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The position has one salary direct report.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
- This position requires up to 10% travel.
EDUCATION
- Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least five (5) years in a senior level Human Resource position.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification is preferred.
